5. Tutor Responsibilities
- Profile Accuracy: Tutors must ensure that all information provided in their profiles is accurate and up to date. Misrepresentation may result in account suspension.
- Session Delivery: Tutors are expected to deliver sessions professionally and punctually.
- Legal Compliance: Tutors must comply with all applicable educational and legal regulations in their jurisdiction.
6. Student Responsibilities
- Participation: Students are expected to attend scheduled sessions promptly and engage actively.
- Feedback: Students are encouraged to leave constructive feedback and rate their tutors after each session.
7. Cancellation Policy
Student Cancellations:
- Up to 24 Hours Before the Scheduled Session: Cancellations or rescheduling can be made without any penalty if done at least 24 hours prior to the session start time. No fees will be charged.
- Within 24 Hours of the Scheduled Session: Cancellations within 24 hours will incur a cancellation fee of 30%, compensating the tutor for short notice.
Tutor Cancellations:
- Tutors must maintain accurate schedules. If a tutor cancels, they should notify the student as early as possible. Frequent cancellations may result in penalties, including suspension or removal from the platform.
No-Shows:
- Student Absence: If a student fails to attend without prior notice, the session fee will be charged, and the tutor will be compensated.
- Tutor Absence: If a tutor fails to attend without prior notice, the student will receive a full refund, and the tutor may face penalties, including suspension or removal.
8. Rescheduling Policy
Sessions may be rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance without penalty. Rescheduling within 24 hours of the scheduled session may result in the application of cancellation fees.
9. Refund Policy
Eligibility:
Refunds will be granted in the following cases:
- The tutor cancels a session.
- Technical issues on the platform prevent the session from occurring.
Process:
Refund requests must be submitted within 24hrs after the session. Refunds will be reviewed and processed within 48hrs.
10. Policy Modifications
We reserve the right to amend these terms, including the cancellation policy, at any time. Users will be informed of any updates in advance. Continued use of the platform after modifications will constitute acceptance of the new terms.
